Today's computer bag for the tour will be.........
The Tom Bihn "Empire Builder".
Combined with a "Brain Cell" laptop sleeve I feel this bag offers exceptional laptop protection, storage and functionality. The pockets are in the proper place. The place I would look if I needed to find something in a pocket. Think about it. It is not big enough to carry around a DSLR, but this tour won't allow me much in the way of "hey let's wander around the city and take pictures". So I took my old Sony point n shoot digital. It needs a new battery but otherwise that camera is solid and working well. One of the better impulse purchases made around the world. In addition to the computer and camera I will be packing my usual assortment of distractions. Ipod, PSP, books, external drive, cables, pens, etc.
See ya.

Notes
Things I like about Aperture 2:
- When exporting you can now continue to work on another photo and no longer have to wait for the export to finish.
-Not much else.
-The layout seems to make more sense than version 1.5, but I never had a problem with it.
-It still does seem odd things. When importing from a card I have to dismount and then remount the card for Aperture to see the stored images. If I do not do that it says there are no images to be found.
I don't know why I am writing this.

Slow news day
I Just read this article on Yahoo.UK. Mr. T brought boy out of a coma
The piece is dated Saturday, March 29. While no year is given since today is Saturday, March 29 I will go out on a limb and say it is 2008.
After I read the article the first thing that came to mind was WHO GIVES A FUCK.
No disrespect Mr. T.

Notes on a plane
Delta: the only thing more off putting than your antiquated, uncomfortable aircraft are your surly flight attendants who seem to be bothered by the fact that they have to do their job. This is only compounded when a customer asks for something. Then the real scowl comes out. Is it that hard to be pleasant. I guess it is.
