Today is the day

After a seemingly endless string of sub par hotels I find myself at a nice one. On the beach in Pompano, Florida. It really doesn't make a difference. As long as there is either room service, or a place to eat within walking distance, and hi speed internet. The past few hotels have had some of the slowest connections ever. Slow speed internet is not much fun and eventually becomes no internet. A good mattress and decent water pressure are nice as well. Proximity to food and internet speed are deciding factors when rating a hotel experience. Today I had room service deliver my dinner as I spent hour after hour wandering around the web getting nothing done. My idea of an afternoon off. A few days ago I was eating at a Cracker Barrel and waiting 3 minutes to view a picture on a web page. The fact that the beach is just outside my window is an added bonus. One that I chose not to take advantage of. I slept backwards on a comfortable mattress and watched a flat panel tv that is smaller than either of the flat panels on the bus. I found that mildly amusing.
