Hi there.
I am in Vancouver. We got into town around 3:00pm. Mad chiller and I found a Denny's and had a good afternoon breakfast. After that we wandered around the city for a while before ending up back at the hotel. I went to my room grabbed my camera and set out in search of the water. There is always something interesting to photograph at the water. I saw, and took pictures of, a cruise ship, a container ship port, a railway in addition to the usual architectural and city skyline objects. Plenty to keep me occupied and interested. While wandering around I also saw a massive construction site. The better part of a city block had been dug up and a pair of massive cranes were preparing to either insert or remove a huge steel cylinder. I have no idea what it is but it made for interesting subject matter. This has been the 3rd or 4th time I have been able to walk around and take pictures on a day off. Or half a day off like today. I met 2 other photographers while I was out taking pics near the water. We stopped and talked for a while. It was nice to talk with some strangers about interesting places to take pictures in their city. I enjoyed the talk. I eventually wound up back at my hotel room. I guess at some point a few people will attempt to go out and eat. There was mention earlier of Sushi and I walked by at least a dozen Japanese restaurants. I am trying to decide if I want to go out or order in. Decisions, decisions.
