Blah blah blah blah

Home theater is where its at.
A theater in my apartment is where its at.
The fact that I live in a studio yet still aspire to achieve a theater like experience from my TV is, I think, funny. Any reason not have to leave my house, yet still be entertained, is where its at.
It started out with a new TV. Go big or go home is what I kept hearing in my head. So I heeded my own inner voice and went big. Samsung 42" plasma. Rockers TV with Earl Chin never looked so good. And as long as I was upgrading the video I had to upgrade the audio. The only problem was the fact that I owned a perfectly fine stereo. 2 channels. Not the 5.1 or 7.1 that has become the standard in audio for video. I scrapped it all, save the main L/R speakers. I bought a receiver, surround speakers, center channel speaker and a subwoofer. I also bought a DVD player. I will no longer have to watch DVD's on my PS2. I honestly still have no interest in listening to a 5.1 audio recording. But now that I have a 5.1 system I might change my mind. I did however want to watch movies in surround. I blame that on US tour busses. A few busses I have been on were equipped with 5.1 surround systems and watching and listening to movies like that was a lot of fun. Now a bus, as comfortable as it is, it still not as comfortable as my couch. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
